AO DAI
There are many things in Vietnam that make a deep impression on people from over the world. Ao Dai is one of them. This is the traditional long dress of Vietnam. Ao dai has a gentle and charming appearance. It is the most favorite dress of Vietnamese women in traditional festivals or special occasions. In some high schools and universities, the white ao dai is considered school uniform for female students. Ao Dai has been also an inspiration of poets, artists and fashion designers. Ao dai, therefore, is an ideal souvenir for foreigners when they leave Vietnam. In my mind, Ao Dai is still the best picture and best costume of Vietnamese people.
